Rod Jones

Rod Jones is an entrepreneur and strategic investor in security and technology companies. With more than 20 years of experience supporting not for profit organizations, mergers & acquisitions and investments Mr. Jones is a seasoned financial professional with high-level understanding of private equity and investments. Most recently, Mr. Jones was Managing Director of BlackRock’s Global Client Group, one of the world’s largest asset managers. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Jones was Founder and Managing Partner of Cain Capital, a multi-family office in Dallas, TX with a focus on alternative and private equity investing. Other previous experience includes working as a Partner at Esping Family Office Holdings, whose expertise includes private equity, public equity, hedge funds and real estate, and with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), a private client group whose businesses included investment and merchant banking, financial advisory service, venture capital, and more. Mr. Jones began his investment banking career at First Chicago. For 10 years he was also the Investment Committee chair for the Board of Parkland Hospital Foundation.

Mr. Jones graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas McCombs School Of Business.

Mr. Jones' primary focus is his family and he is also an avid golfer. He enjoys sports with his family and spending time at the ranch.
