LANE DUNCAN
Lane Duncan serves as Director of Finance for Cyber Defense Labs. He leads the organization’s accounting, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, and business operations analysis. Lane works strategically with executive leadership, business unit leaders, clients, vendors, and investors of the organization.
Before joining Cyber Defense Labs, Lane served as a senior accountant for Peterbilt Motor Company, where he managed the accounting of capital equipment, coordinated intercompany transactions between twenty-plus divisions, and led multiple Six Sigma process improvement projects. Lane was awarded the Prestigious Honors for Leadership and Accounting Award.
Before Peterbilt Motor Company, Lane was a senior associate at Grant Thornton, performing audit services for public and private multinational companies and not-for-profit organizations. Lane understands the financial importance of an organization having a strong cybersecurity culture. He advocates this importance in his interactions with client partners and outside organizations.
Lane earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University and his Master of Science in Audit from the University of North Texas. He holds a Texas CPA license and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
