Deborah Walpole

Vice President, Business Operations

Deborah Walpole serves as Vice President of Business Operations for Cyber Defense Labs. In her current role, she leads the organization’s human resources, finance, IT, and marketing operations. Deborah works strategically with leaders across the organization to ensure back-end operations support the success of Cyber Defense Lab’s overall objectives.

Deborah joined Cyber Defense Labs in 2022 as the Director of Human Resources Operations to lead the strategic planning of human capital, talent acquisition, retention and development, benefits compensation, total rewards, and succession planning. Deborah was then called upon to head the day-to-day business operations.

Before joining Cyber Defense Labs, Deborah spent nearly ten years in the commercial furniture industry working for a Dallas-based furniture dealership. She rose to serve as the Vice President of People Experience, leading human resources, marketing, customer coordination, and design.

Before working in commercial furniture, Deborah worked in the SMBE business and construction software industry, serving as the human resources leader for a software dealer representing Sage’s suite of business management solutions.

Deborah is a driven, servant-style leader who believes an organization's success is the direct impact of its employees' living the company's mission and values.

Deborah earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas.
