DEBORAH WALPOLE
Deborah Walpole serves as Vice President of Business Operations for Cyber Defense Labs. In her current role, she leads the organization’s human resources, finance, IT, and marketing operations. Deborah partners with executive leadership and strategically works with business leaders, ensuring their human capital needs meet the organization's demands and overall business objectives.
Deborah joined Cyber Defense Labs in 2022 as the Director of Human Resources Operations to lead the strategic planning of human capital, talent acquisition, retention and development, benefits compensation, total rewards, and succession planning.
​Prior to joining Cyber Defense Labs, Deborah spent nearly ten years in the commercial furniture industry working for a Dallas-based dealership aligned to Steelcase, rising to serve as the Vice President of People Experience ​where she led human resources, marketing, customer coordination, and design.

Before working in commercial furniture, Deborah worked in the SMBE business and construction software industry, serving as the human resources leader for a software dealer aligned with Sage. ​

Deborah is a driven, servant-style leader who believes the success of an organization is the direct impact of its employees' positive, culture-centric experience aligned with the company's mission. She uniquely understands the impact of cybersecurity on employees and the value of protecting their data. ​

Deborah earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas.
