MARLA BECKHAM
Marla Beckham serves as President and Chief Financial Officer for Cyber Defense Labs. As an executive team member, she provides strategic oversight of the organization’s financial, legal, HR, and corporate and client operations, ensuring resiliency and stability across all divisions. Marla partners with all key stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, sales, client partners, and vendors. She brings leadership in all aspects of corporate finance with strong expertise in financial management, budgeting and forecasting, risk mitigation, cost controls, and strategic planning.
Prior to joining Cyber Defense Labs, Marla served as Chief Financial Officer at Epic Aviation helping the company expand into new markets, leading a restructure of the organization, and facilitating the sale of the organization to Signature Aviation. She led financial functions, risk management, HR, and IT during her tenure.
Prior to Epic Aviation, Marla served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Atlantic Aviation. She led the successful integration of new business units into existing operations and handled 15 buy-side and 4 sell-side transactions. She managed all daily financial and reporting activities, including debt refinance, compliance, treasury, accounting, budgeting, and reporting processes, while actively contributing to IT projects and disaster recovery planning.
Marla understands the financial importance of cybersecurity, noting that it is one of the foremost business risks modern companies face today. She understands the investments necessary to protect the high-value assets of an organization and its data. Beckham shares the passion that Cyber Defense Labs brings when working with companies to build a culture and mindset around cybersecurity.
Marla holds a Texas CPA license and is a graduate of Texas Christian University.
